It’s a pirate’s life for us! GameScribes is lucky enough to get to work with some amazing clients on some equally amazing games, but we have to admit that we’re particularly proud of the recently released Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.
We worked with developers, Obsidian Entertainment, and their publisher, Versus Evil, to localize this great RPG — and will also translate and perform Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) for the upcoming Downloadable Content (DLC), as well.
Our team translated more than 1.2 million words for French, Italian, German and Spanish for this highly anticipated sequel, after having worked on the DLC for the original Pillars of Eternity.
Obsidian has been very happy with our work and we’re excited to get to continue to work with them on this game. We are also excited to see that players are already commenting on the quality of the localization, especially Spanish:
